  • Entries submitted through the internet at www.masslottery.com or through MA Lottery 2nd Chance app must be submitted from a computer or mobile device located in Massachusetts. Lottery Red Carpet VIP Club, create an internet entry account and enter one (1) non-winning THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ (Game #371) instant ticket according to the entry instructions.

SECOND CHANCE DRAWING RULES

  • Only entries received through THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ Second Chance Drawing website or MA Lottery 2nd Chance app are eligible.
  • Each qualified entry is guaranteed to be in one (1) of up to five (5) Second Chance Drawings.
  • Players will have the opportunity to play THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ Bonus Game and may receive up to twenty five (25) entries per ticket submitted.
  • On the fourth ticket that a player enters, the player will be eligible for the SHOWCASE SHOWDOWN™ and may receive up to one hundred (100) entries.
  • Odds of winning any prize in any Second Chance Drawing will vary depending on the number of entries received for that drawing.
  • Entries received after 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time of the entry deadline date for a Second Chance Drawing shall be included in the next scheduled drawing.
  • Entries received after 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time of the entry deadline date for the final Second Chance Drawing shall be deemed ineligible for any drawing and shall be excluded.
  • All entries must be received no later than thirty (30) days after the official end of game as announced by the Mass. Lottery.
  • There is no limit on the number of entries that a player can submit.
  • There is no limit on the number of Second Chance Drawing prizes one person may win.
  • Federal, state taxes, monies due the Commonwealth or other personal expenses are the responsibility of the Second Chance Drawing winner and may be subject to withholding.
  • Second Chance Drawing prizewinners' names and hometowns may be posted on the Mass. Lottery's website following validation of prizewinners after each drawing and, by submitting an entry, winners understand and consent to the posting.
  • COME ON DOWN Challenge Trip and $10,000 winners will be notified by the Lottery and must complete a claim form. The prizes are subject to applicable taxes and withholdings and/or any monies due the Commonwealth.
  • $500 and $50 winners will be notified by email. Prize checks will be mailed to the address on the winner's VIP Account within 2 weeks of notification. Players are responsible for ensuring their address is current prior to drawing.
  • Second Chance Drawing entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Second Chance Drawings are subject to the rules and regulations of the Mass. Lottery and its respective administrative bulletin. These are selected highlights of the rules. Administrative bulletins contain all rules and are available upon request.i
  • Prizes are not transferable, and the Prizewinner may not choose to receive the cash equivalent of the trip portion of the Trip Prize.
  • Second Chance Drawing entries are void where prohibited by law.
  • COME ON DOWN Challenge Trip winners shall be required to comply with the Department of Homeland Security’s REAL ID program and all other programs to attend the event. For more information, please see: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id.
  • THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ Second Chance Drawing is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on or about Fall 2023. The trip date and venue are subject to change without prior notice and without recourse to the prizewinner.
  • If a prizewinner does not accept the COME ON DOWN Challenge Trip, is disqualified, for whatever reason, or if the prize is not claimed within timeframe proscribed by Mass. Lottery, the Mass. Lottery shall choose an alternate prizewinner.
  • Prizewinners of the COME ON DOWN Challenge Trip attend events solely at their own risk and responsibility. MDI may require prizewinners to execute waiver and release forms and other documentation as a condition of their attendance on the COME ON DOWN Challenge Trip.

AGE LIMITATION RULES

Mass. Lottery rules permit prizewinners under the age of twenty-one (21) to participate in THE PRICE IS RIGHT™ Second Chance Drawing; however, their participation is limited, as follows:

  • YOU MUST BE 21 TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COME ON DOWN Challenge EVENT. State of Nevada rules for certain venues in Las Vegas prohibit persons under twenty-one (21) to enter their facilities unless accompanied by a person twenty-one (21) years or older. The prizewinner will be provided the opportunity to appoint a proxy or a proxy shall be appointed. Proxy rules are outlined below. Proxy selections are subject to the following rules:
  • Any Prizewinner under the age of twenty-one (21) may designate a proxy who must be at least twenty-one (21). Such designation must be made to Mass. Lottery, in writing, not less than ten (10) weeks prior to the COME ON DOWN Challenge.
  • If the Prizewinner elects to appoint his or her own proxy, that proxy cannot be modified or changed by the Prizewinner. If the proxy appointed by the prizewinner is revoked or unable to serve, for any reason whatsoever, a substitute proxy shall be appointed by MDI.
  • Any Prizewinner under the age of twenty-one (21) may attend the COME ON DOWN Challenge if accompanied by his or her designated proxy into the State of Nevada and at all times throughout the trip.

DEBT SETOFF RULES

The Mass. Lottery may not pay a prize in its entirety to a Prizewinner when the Prizewinner owes an outstanding debt to the Commonwealth. All prizewinners must follow Prize Claim Rules, found at www.masslottery.com. Any monies due the Commonwealth shall be retained for payment thereof, with any remaining monies to be paid to the prizewinner. FOR ALL PRIZEWINNERS WITH OUTSTANDING DEBT TO THE COMMONWEALTH, A PROXY SHALL BE APPOINTED.

In the event that the Prizewinner’s prize is intercepted in whole or part, the Prizewinner shall be subject to the following conditions:

  • The cash value of the trip seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500.00) will be paid to the Commonwealth for outstanding debt.
  • Any remaining funds from prize will be paid to the Prizewinner.
  • If the outstanding debt exceeds the cash value of the trip, any and all monies won by the Prizewinner shall be paid first to the Commonwealth and then to the prizewinner. The Mass. Lottery and MDI shall bear no responsibility and or liability for any issue arising out of the Prizewinner’s outstanding debt.

PROXY RULES

  • A proxy will be a non-prizewinner who will be designated by a Prizewinner or assigned by MDI to participate in the COME ON DOWN Challenge Event.
  • Proxies are not entitled to keep any portion of any prize.
  • For any reason whatsoever, if a Prizewinner does not attend the COME ON DOWN Challenge Event, the Prizewinner may designate a proxy who must be at least twenty-one (21). Such designation must be made to Mass. Lottery, in writing, not less than ten (10) weeks prior to the COME ON DOWN Challenge.
  • If the Prizewinner elects to appoint his or her own proxy, that proxy cannot be modified or changed by the Prizewinner. If the proxy appointed by the Prizewinner is revoked or unable to serve, for any reason whatsoever, a substitute proxy shall be appointed by MDI.
  • A proxy assigned by MDI to participate in the COME ON DOWN Challenge Event shall be vested with power, authority or discretion to make any decision for or on behalf of the Prizewinner.
  • A proxy designated by the Prizewinner to participate in the COME ON DOWN Challenge Event shall be vested with power, authority or discretion to make any decision for or on behalf of the Prizewinner.
  • The Mass. Lottery and MDI are not responsible for decisions of the Prizewinner’s proxy or of the proxy appointed by MDI.
  • In the event that a proxy is appointed by MDI, MDI assumes all liability which may be associated with that appointment by MDI.
